Great start to the season! Practically flawless. Difference in the game were the hits we got and the ones they didn't get. Even more, the other team made a bunch of mental errors and we didn't make any mental errors. They made some base running mistakes and threw the ball when they should have held it a couple times. Lessons for us to remember.
We got great pitching from Kyle and Patrick both giving up one run each . Austin K. had a two run hit and played flawless in the field making several put outs. Michael had a nice base hit scoring Patrick in the bottom of the Fifth to give us a nice insurance run. Yankees beat Red Sox 4-2 in a really well played game. I'm really proud of the kids in the way they prepared/practiced for the first game under wet and cold conditions.
